A little be about Pin-Ups
Pin-Ups ads were a very interesting and important part of mass advertising in the late 40’s and 50’s. They were photos and illustrations of very sexy girls being friendly and sassy. They were everywhere, so much that promo photos of this images were “pinned-up” on boletin boards—and that’s where the name comes from. They were also  great at supporting soldiers during the war and served as an american patriotism symbol.
